Description: I worked with Resonates project manager Shelley Hastings to plan and deliver a number of art sessions with the theme of ‘awe’ in mind. I wasnted to capture the sense of excitement that children feel on a daily basis - becaurse lots of things in life are completely new to them and experiencing something for the first time can feel quite specisl. We experience this less and less as we grow older and so the idea was to try to give the participants moments of ‘wow! what’s that’ or ‘Oooh, that’s interesting!’ whether that be from seeing the effects of an interesting technique such as cyanotype printing, or using an interesting new piece of technology such as thermal cameras.
