July 2018 - Jan 2020

This weekly art class for partially sighted adults was based at the Osmani Centre in East London and funded by BlindAid. The sessions provided a relaxed, sociable environment where participants could explore creativity, build confidence and connect with one another over plenty of tea and biscuits.

Using bright colours and highly tactile materials—including Mod Roc, air-dry clay and textured fabrics—participants engaged with a wide range of visual arts activities at their own pace. Projects such as mobiles, relief pieces and small sculptures were often developed over several weeks, allowing individuals the time and space to experiment, refine their ideas and enjoy the creative process.
